Lawyer (2007), Licenciado en Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales (JD equivalent) in the Universidad de Chile. Holds a Diplomado en Derecho Administrativo Sancionador, post graduate degree program taught by the Universidad de Valladolid, España (2014) and a Magister en Derecho Penal (LL.M in Penal Law equivalent) in the Universidad de Talca, (2015) and Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, España (2015).

 In his academic capacity, he has participated as a visiting professor in diploma courses and master's degrees in Public Law and Criminal Law.

In his professional capacity, he served in the Poder Judicial between 2005 and 2008. First, as law clerk for a Chamber Judge at the Corte de Apelaciones de Santiago and then law clerk for a Justice at the Corte Suprema. Also, he was a lawyer with the Infrastructure and Regulation Division with the Contraloría General de la República de Chile (Comptroller General of the Republic of Chile) between 2008 and 2010, Head of the Disciplinary Unit between 2013 and 2016. In 2013 to 2016 he was appointed as Contralor Regional de la Region del Libertador Bernardo O´Higgins (Regional Comptroller of Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins Region). Also, he has advised private clients in matters pertaining administrative law.
